Forcing full uploads and downloads 

 

Istoriam was heavily tested to ensure that the databases on the devices and on iCloud remain in sync. However, errors are part of every software development and Istoriam is not an exception to that rule. Hence, if for any reason you determine (or doubt) that the iCloud database is out of sync with the one on your device, you can re-ensure the syncing of the databases by either forcing a full upload of the database on your device to iCloud or by forcing a full download of database on iCloud to your device.

A forced full upload will delete the current content on iCloud and replace it with the one on your device. Conversely, a full forced download will delete the current on your device and replace it with the one on iCloud.

 

To do either option, click on iCloud menu option and then select the desired operation.

 

Note: If you are using numerous devices with Istoriam and you determined that the devices are out of sync, you can either force download the iCloud database to all the devices or you can determine the device with the desired content and force upload its content to iCloud. In the later case, the other device will receive a notification of the new upload and sync their local databases accordingly. You should complete either option before changing the content on any of the devices.
